The Executive of the local Chapter of The UWI Student Guild is charged with representing the interests, rights and concerns of the students at the Anguilla Open Campus, while promoting the University as a viable option for tertiary studies for prospective students. The Guild also provides assistance to new and returning students, offering support and advice on how to successfully navigate their tertiary level educational experience at the Open Campus.

The new Guild Executive has expressed its delight at being afforded the opportunity to work with the staff at the Anguilla UWI Open Campus Site in representing the interests of the students. President/PRO Britnee Williams noted that the aim is to create an atmosphere that will promote the growth and development of the students inside and outside of the classroom. As such, they are looking at a number of community-based activities and collaboration with other tertiary student bodies on the island, including those at the Anguilla Community College and the St. James School of Medicine as well as with the Department of Youth and Culture. One of the new Guild’s first initiatives was the donation of a water storage tank to the local Site.
