The students from Grade 3 were accompanied by their class teacher, Ms. Jerica Crawford. She stated: “The reason for the visit is to assist the students in gathering information relative to traffic and the duties of a police officer and to report on their visit and return to the school.”

The students who were facilitated during their visit by Sgt. Chrispen Gumbs, Public and Media Relations Officer of the Royal Anguilla Police Force. They were given an opportunity to meet and greet senior officers including the Commissioner of Police. They were also given a tour of the police station and spoke with several officers relating to their duties in the various departments.

At the end of their near two hour visit the students expressed gratitude to Sgt. Gumbs for the tour and for the information that they received.
