RAPF REPORTS: Twenty-one year old Island Harbour man arrested for drugs and ammunition

Police on Saturday 18th April, 2015 at 5:00pm arrested a 21 year old man from Island Harbour for possession and cultivation of cannabis and for possession of ammunition.

ADVERTISEMENT

The alleged offender was arrested after the police executed a search warrant on his premises and discovered some fifteen (15) cannabis plants and ten (10) seedlings. Police also discovered three rounds of ammunition during the search.

On Sunday 19th April, 2015 at 12:05pm the offender was charged with possession and cultivation of cannabis and possession of ammunition.

He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday 20th April, 2015 where he was offered bail in the sum of EC $60,000.00, EC $20,000.00 in cash with one surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on Friday 19th June, 2015. The offender was remanded at HMP having failed to meet the bail requirements.
