CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa, one of the premier upmarket properties in Anguilla, has been featured in a lifestyle video interview with the prestigious bi-weekly American Forbes Life Magazine.

The video presentation was captioned “CuisinArt Crafts A Luxury Resort in The Caribbean”. The two-and-a-half-minute interview was conducted by Mr. Joseph DeAcetis with Mr. Stephane Zaharia, Vice President and General Manager of the resort.

Mr. Zaharia told the interviewer that the resort was owned by one family with the last name being Rizzuto. He explained that Mr. Lee Rizzuto was a very successful businessman who owns Conair, the Hair Dryer Company. He said another company owned by Mr. Rizzuto was CuisinArt Kitchen Appliances, to which the interviewer remarked that CuisinArt was almost a fashion company.
Asked to elaborate on the resort, Mr. Zaharia said that Mr. Rizzuto was on vacation in the Caribbean and visited Anguilla for a day. In that short space of time he fell in love with the island and was desirous of purchasing an area of land to build a private home. He bought the land of thirty-five acres, but the government at the time told him it was not possible for him to construct a private residence on the beachfront property – and suggested that he should consider building a five-star resort instead in Anguilla.

Mr. Rizzuto eventually undertook to go ahead with the project. “He called it CuisinArt because one of the successful companies that he owns is CuisinArt Kitchen Appliances,” Mr. Zaharia said.

He informed the interviewer that the resort had 102 rooms and, as part of the room inventory, there were jewel suits as well as seven private villas with two bedrooms, three bedrooms and five bedrooms. He stated that these were becoming more and more popular to visiting parents taking their children and grandchildren on vacation in Anguilla for a week, and finding accommodation, altogether, under one roof on the beach in a private villa, within a hotel.
