DSC_0985 DSC_0972 DSC_0965 DSC_0931 DSC_0913The Early Childhood Month celebrations continued with the annual preschool concert which was held at the Rodney Rey Auditorium. The evening of Tuesday 24th March saw a great gathering of well clad preschoolers accompanied by their proud parents and well wishers, armed with cameras and iPads, and clapping hands to cheer the youngsters on as they performed.
The concert showcased the social/emotional development of the island’s preschoolers between 2-1/2 and 4-1/2 years old. They wowed the appreciative audience with biblical recitations, poetry, songs, dances, a fashion show and other activities which displayed their ability to communicate freely, cooperate with each other, pay attention and follow instructions. Their self-esteem and confidence were very evident especially in the fashion show which allowed their different personalities to shine through to the amusement of the audience.
