Tuesday 3rd March 2015, Anguilla- Digicel has contributed to the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School (A.L.H.C.S) Literary and Debating Society.
The 43rd annual LIDC got started at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Thursday February 26th 2015 and ended on March 1 2015.
In the Finals on Sunday night, opposing the moot, “When public funds are mismanaged, government leaders should face criminal prosecution,” Anguilla, scored 654 to win the coveted title.
Team Leader Arianna Woodley and Second Sabrina Connor, faced off with defending champions Montserrat, represented in this year’s Finals by Leader Sharese Allen and her Second Dwanifia Joseph. Montserrat scored 521 points.
The Best Speaker Award for the evening’s debate went to Anguilla’s Second Miss Connor, who scored 177 points. The Overall Best Speaker Award went to Anguilla’s Kasem Thompson.

What was even more impressive, is that even though the Anguillia team had different speakers for each debate; they still managed to receive the awards for best speaker at each debate.
