Students Visit Police Station As Part Of School Projects

IMG_1061Some eighteen (18) students from the Adrian T Hazel Primary School, ATHPS, visited The Valley Police Station Thursday February 12, as part of a Social Studies exercise.

The student sfrom grade 4C were accompanied by the class teacher, Teacher. Clarissa Carty who indicated that the reason for the visit was to assist the students in gathering information relative to traffic and to prepare a report on the same topic.
The students were facilitated during their visit by Sgt. Chrispen Gumbs. They also had an opportunity to meet and greet senior officers including the Commissioner of Police, and a tour the police station including the cell area.
At the end of their two hour visit the students expressed their gratitude and assured both Sgt. Gumbs and Tr. Clarissa that they were now able to compile the report as a result of the visit.
