DSC_9912 DSC_9908A number of jets, which crowded Anguilla’s airport over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, were back on the island for the Valentine’s Day weekend.
The jets occupied – but did not crowd – the old and new parking shoulders of the Clayton J Lloyd International Airport. They brought in a number of couples and other family members for the traditional period of love.

Among the visiting aircraft was a first-time Embraer 190, said to be of the type used by Jet Blue and, in this case, probably specially configured to carry, in luxury seats, seventeen passengers for the flight to Anguilla.

There have been similar large jets which flew to Anguilla in the past – the most recent, three weeks ago, having been two 737s.
