Supporting the Arijah second annual love tournament was the brain child of Digicel’s Head of Commercial, Kerchelle Jn C harles. She stated that “this year, Digicel is focusing on “breaking barriers and opening doors”. It is so very important for us to support all special needs foundations within our society. Activities such as these are important because they bring the students out of their homes and classrooms to socialize with each other, offer invaluable support to each other and of course to simply have a good time. Digicel has been a great supporter of the Arijah’s Children foundation and I am happy to once again be on board of this major event”
Marketing Executive Roxanne Webster commented, The Digicel team is always happy to show support to the youth and fostering of young children in Anguilla. We are proud to be involved with this initiative and it gives us great pleasure to know that the students will be able to get this uplifting experience as well as support towards the foundation.”
Through the kind and generous donations of many individuals, businesses and community groups, the Arijah’ s Children Foundation opened on September 6, 2010 and today provides daily educational and therapeutic programs and services for Anguilla’s children with special needs.
