The ceremony that was attended by both parents and teachers of the school was chaired by WPC Augustina Carbon who assisted PC Shawn Lake who was the teacher of the program at the school.

Remarks were made by Acting Inspector Brian Best as well as Head Teacher of the MVPS, Mr. Michael Skellekie. In his presentation Insp. Best admonished the class to always listen to their inner conscience and always do what was right. The Head Teacher reiterated some of the salient aspects of the program to the class and encouraged the students to use the Decision Making Model which they were exposed to during the presentation of the program.

Three students from the graduating class were awarded for their outstanding performance during the course. Two were awarded 1st place and second place in the DARE Report competition and two were awarded 1st place and second place in the DARE poster completion. In the report competition Dinisha Hyman was awarded 1st place with Damarai Gumbs placing second. In the poster competition Neider Sanchez was awarded 1st and Damarai Gumbs second place.

During the graduation the student presented a play show casing how the Decision Making Model could be used in everyday situations in problem resolution.
This year marks the 8th year that the RAPF have been partnering with the Education Department and the Omululu International School in presenting this very useful program to our young people with the aim of creating in them a mindset that will make each and every one of them more productive citizens.
