On Wednesday February 4th Taiwanese Chef, Ken Lin, of ChaCha San Anguilla visited the ALHCS’s Food & Nutrition Lab for a practical session on Asian Cuisine with the Students of Tr. Shermine’s Food & Nutrition Class. Chef Ken worked side by side with the kids instructing them as they created A Traditional Asian Spring Roll. All Students had the opportunity to participate and then share in the delightful dish. The Principal Ingrid Lake also stopped in to extend her gratitude to Chef Ken for his selflessness in lending his skills and time to the students.
Ken Lin was born in Taiwan to a family of Chefs. He spent most of his life traveling to some of the worlds most high profile destinations before deciding to call Anguilla home. At the highschool, Ken saw in the students the passionate young man working in Taiwan decades ago. ChaCha San is his dream realized and he hopes to continue to use his talents to help others to realize their own vision in life. For Ken, Cha Cha San is a uniquely Anguillian Product that he combines with his Taiwanese heritage to create the Ultimate Pan Asian Experience.
