Wednesday 7th January 2015, Anguilla-: Digicel extends congratulations to Ms. Leah Richardson and Ms. Simone Codlyn the winners of EC$20,000 Jackpot in the Digicel ‘BIGGEST BINGO EVER’ event held at the Trough to culminate their ‘Christmas together’ promotion.
Leah and Simone, along with many other loyal Digicel customers, won a series of prizes on December 18th 2014 ranging from Smart phones, home appliances and cash. “From the time I saw I had one more number needed I said, this is so close I hope I win, I need this more than anyone else!” said Ms. Richardson.
“I really did not expect to win anything, it was truly a blessing to me for the Christmas season.” Commented Ms. Codlyn. Both Leah and Simone won and shared EC $20,000 on Thursday December 18th 2014; equally $10,000 richer, compliments of Digicel the Extraordinary Network.
Both lucky winners were presented with a large cheque for the biggest jackpot in Anguilla’s bingo history from Digicel executives Kerchelle Jn Charles and Roxanne Webster in front of a record breaking crowd of almost three thousand people.

Although we’ve had many winners tonight and throughout our Christmas promotion, this bingo grand prize has been the biggest cash prize ever .We definitely ended the year with a bang! Brought cheer and togetherness to many and truly demonstrated our theme ‘together we make Christmas better’. ”
The Bingo Night, was supported by the Lions Community, and was said to be the biggest activity on their calendar this year. Derrick Richardson, expressed his gratitude for Digicel’s overwhelming support as they were able to raise funds which will assist greatly in all their charitable initiatives.
There were also incredible performances by Digicel brand ambassadors Dj Legend and Exodus HD, and after an exciting night of bingo, Onyan, singer/ song writer out of Antigua brought the curtains down on the Christmas promotion by pleasing Anguillians with a variety of selections from his musical repertoire; it was definitely a historic night for bingo in Anguilla.
