For the Anguilla Electricity Company Ltd, (ANGLEC) Christmas 2014 was a time of giving back to its loyal customers and the community at large. For the second time ANGLEC ran its Spin-The-Wheel promotions on the grounds of the main building. Three days before Christmas, between the hours of 10:00am to 12:00Noon every seventh customer that paid their bill got an opportunity to win one of many great prizes.

A number of lucky customers won, hams, bill credit of up to two hundred dollars and vouchers. A selection of the company’s Donations Committee along with CEO David Gumbs on the grater, Steve Hodge on Guitar and Jereaughni Harrigan on bass visited the senior citizens homes across the island, serenaded them with live music and presented gift baskets of daily use supplies. To culminate their season of giving ANGLEC entered all its customers who had a zero balance on their account by Christmas Day in a raffle for a LG 42”1080P LED TV.

Out of an excess of 2,500 customers Mr. Shermon Niles name was pulled. When contact he was more than excited to say the least. In a presentation on January 7th, 2015 his wife Vicky Niles accepted the prize on his behalf. Ask to comment on ANGLEC’s activities over the 2014 Christmas Season, Mr. Ivan Connor, PRO responded I think we did an excellent job of showing that we are truly a part of the Anguilla Community and we are connected to the clients we serve. We invite everyone to stay connected to ANGLEC via social media and otherwise as we remain “committed to serve you better”.
