The carefully planned itinerary was created to introduce the natural beauty, attractions, rhythms and hospitality of Anguilla and the exclusive Cap Juluca retreat featuring recent revitalization projects. Dynamic activities, fine dining and local sights were introduced to Lisa Kennedy, Serendipity; Kristin Kent, Toronto Star; David Lansing, ISLANDS Magazine; Nicholas Nguyen, H Texas Magazine; and Gary Walther; Forbes.com.

Linda Hickox and Cap Juluca’s Director of Activities Cardigan Connor launched the press trip off to a festive start with welcome cocktails at Maundays followed by a superb dinner at Pimms with its Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” wine list. Daily activities included in-room therapeutic massages; plenty of free time to laze and stroll on the beach; time to enjoy exciting water-oriented ventures including a sunset cruise and private boat trip around the island; dining on the beach and at exotic Spice; as well as a champagne, wine and passed hors d’oeuvres enhanced tour of Cap Juluca’s glamorous 3,290-square-foot Jonquil Suite.

This year was a stellar, award-winning year for Cap Juluca, which included receiving such designations as “Readers’ Choice Top 50 Best Resorts in the Caribbean,” by Conde Nast Traveler; “Award of Excellence,” from Wine Spectator; “Certificate of Excellence,” by TripAdvisor; “Top 5 Resorts in The Caribbean for Honeymoons,” from Brides; and “Best Caribbean Hotel,” in Condé Nast Johansens.

In 2015, the resort looks forward to continuing its high level of hospitality, promoting idyllic Anguilla and to reading about the experiences this distinguished group of writers had during their weekend trip here.
