DIGICEL BRINGS CHRISTMAS TOGETHER WITH CHILDREN ACROSS ANGUILLA

December 10th 2014- The Valley Anguilla: Digicel brought Christmas cheer to the children of all the public primary schools including, Vivian Vanterpool primary school, Morris Vanterpool primary school, Alwyn Allison primary school, Orealia Kelly primary school, Adrian T Hazel primary school and Valley primary school. All students of each school received an ice-cream treat, complete with meeting Santa Claus and his extraordinary elves. Kindergarten and Grade 1 students also received a gift personalized with their name and photo with Digicel’s Santa Claus. Over 1000 children across the island of Anguilla were treated from this generous contribution made by Digicel.
This event is was highly anticipated by the children of the Vivian Vanterpool primary school, said Principal, Tr. Mavis, who remarked that “Digicel has made all our children very happy, all kids will be able to say they were treated this Christmas! Today was a remarkable day for the school and we are very pleased and happy that Digicel has made this generous contribution. Thank you Digicel! ”.

Similarly, Principal, Tr. Paula thanked Digicel for its generous donation to the Orealia Kelly primary school. “We are extremely pleased that Digicel has come to our school and spread Christmas cheer with the students and teachers of the Orealia Kelly Primary School, we appreciate all that Digicel has done for us, especially today as the school term comes to an end. Each school child feels happy, and rewarded for their excellent school work, the extraordinary Digicel staff, Santa and elves were great! Thank you Digicel.”
It then became an Extraordinary moment when special needs students of the Dove Centre at the Alwyn Allison Primary school were also offered presents amidst the Christmas celebration. Teachers, students, principal, the Digicel team & photographer shared tears of joy.
At the gift giving presentation, Principal Tr. Marcia expressed, “Digicel’s support to children of our school has shown the development and empowerment of the youth and the fostering of young children in the Anguilla. We applaud the Digicel for putting on such a joyous promotion and we know we can look forward to such initiatives in the future.”
Marketing Executive, Roxanne Webster commented, “As a part of the Digicel ‘Christmas together ‘promotion, It has been nothing but a joy and pleasure to bring laughter, happiness and togetherness to the children of Anguilla. More importantly, Digicel continuously contributes towards the development of education; each child has worked hard throughout the school year and there is no better way to reward them than during this festive Christmas season. The children have made it a wonderful Christmas for the Digicel team. They truly depict the joy of the season and it is always heartwarming to see those beautiful smiles on their faces.”
