20141029_125404 20140613_091241The Principal of the Central Christian School (CCS), Mr Andrew Blake, has released the results of recent Science Fair held there and for which a number of students won awards.

One aspect of the fair showed, by experiments, how the use of alcohol can damage the brain. The students who participated in this exercise and secured first place awards were Aaron Campbell, Colinsia Webbe, Daemikwa Wallace and Xaneya Harrigan-Smith.

The second place winners in the Environmental Science aspect of the fair were Cuthwin Webster, Shaquanique Hanley, Leandre Sutherland and Verejay Hodge. They designed a mosquito trap.
The Central Christian School is a primary/pre-school initiative of the Central Baptist Church at Rey Hill. The school, which is now building its new campus, has shown growing progress over the years, sending a number of bright and well-trained students to Campus B of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School.

If all goes well with its current and future plans, the privately-run Christian School will eventually own and operate its high school.
