The bold and useful undertaking, through a number of questioners, moderators, and other key persons, is that of the Albena Lake-Hodge Literary and Debating Society, with the full support of the Principal and Staff and the collaboration of the National Youth Ambassador Corps.
The debates, at the Rodney MacArthur Rey Auditorium, commenced for the political candidates – in the order of the seven constituencies starting with constituency 1 – on November 17, and will continue until November 25 climaxing on November 26 with the party leaders’ debates.

The debates, broadcast live by radio stations and streamed on the internet, have so for been well-attended. There has been much commendation for the Literary & Debating Society known for its excellent performance in the Annual Leeward Islands’ Debating Competition as well as its functioning at home.

Much commendation has been expressed for the high level, intricacy and timeliness of the questions and the wide variety of the subject matters of the debates.
