TransPharm Ltd (www.transpharm.me) a nutritional supplement, fitness & lifestyle company, owned by Csaesaré Wattley, continues to host the ever popular “Tattoo Week”, several times a year, in collaboration with Roger “Da Ink Doctor” Esquivez, a definite crowd pleaser with his meticulous ink skills, creative tattoo cover-ups and piercing prowess.
This time, in addition to the full week of appointments, TransPharm Ltd is to collaborate once again with The Faith Foundation in their “Grant A Wish” program, which was spearheaded by Melisha Maccow. The Faith Foundation aims to raise awareness to the rising level of gun violence on the island, and the effects it has on the victims and their families. The “Grant a Wish” program is being developed as part of the Faith Foundations ongoing program of activities to provide experiences for individuals who are now facing challenges as a result of gun crime and is hoping to partner with local businesses in Anguilla to provide “one-day experiences” to the victims of gun violence.
For this “Grant a Wish” – Marsh was given the opportunity to sharpen his skills as a tattoo artist by being mentored by Da Ink Doctor and CeasarInk for the day and will have another chance again next week.
In July, vising tattoo artists Da Ink Doctor and CeasarInk visited Marsh Niles at his home and spent the day teaching him the art of tattooing. Marsh Niles, has always been an talented artist. He developed a love for tattoo’s simply by looking at them and decided that he was going to do it. With that being said his cousin bought him a tattoo kit and he figured it out and started tattooing. Marsh has the amazing ability to look at something and sketch it to a 98% likeness of the initial imagine and that is something that was seen and amazed the tattoo artist about him. CeasarInk, who is also an artist like Marsh, took an automatic liking to him as he too was an artist and self-taught tattoo artist.
Csaesaré Wattley says “This is a very good collaboration with the Faith Foundation, which was organized by my sister, CeeJay. The TransPharm Ltd Team, Da Ink Doctor and CeasarInk are happy for the opportunity to be the first partner company with the Faith Foundation for their “Grant a Wish” program.”
Melisha Maccow, of the Faith Foundation said “at the Faith Foundation we have placed our immediate focus on a number of outreach programs, through this foundation we aim to help victims and their families by offering true support and a shoulder to lean on when times get rough as well as provide opportunities for the affected parties. Being a victim should not mean life is over.”
November 3rd, marks the start of yet another much anticipated week of creative tattoo and piercing artistry and also the second half of onsite training for Marsh Niles as part of the “Grant A Wish” program.
The Faith Foundation would like to express its gratitude to Csaesare Wattley, Ceejay Wattley, Da Ink Doctor and CeasarInk for making the first “Grant A Wish” collaboration a success!
The Faith Foundation team is also actively planning year two of their previously successful “Walk of Life”, which encourages persons to walk for their life, the lives of victims that cannot walk, and the lives of victims past.
This year’s schedule includes a church service at The church of God of Holiness on Sunday November 2nd, the Faith Foundation “Walk of Life” on November 6th, and a Unity Basket Ball tournament on Saturday November 8th, 2014.
