POLICE REPORT: OCTOBER 2 TO OCTOBER 8

One burglary and two thefts were reported to Police in Anguilla during the above period. The burglary occurred at Welches where a 40-inch flat-screen television was stolen.

The thefts were at South Hill and East End where goats were among the stolen property.

There was one charge of possession of cannabis at North Hill. On October 2 the Police arrested and subsequently charged A.C. of North Hill with possession of cannabis. He was taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, October 6. He was released on a EC$90,000 bond with one surety. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 24 at 9.00 am.

Four persons were arrested during the period as follows: one male for murder; one male for cultivation of cannabis; one male for assault; and one male to prevent a breach of the peace.

Six traffic accidents were reported.
