Her Excellency the Governor, Christina Scott, has been inducted as Patron for the Anguilla Red Cross. The induction ceremony was held at Government House on Monday, September 29, at which a number of executive members of the organisation were in attendance.
The Governor expressed delight to serve with the voluntary organisation and pledged her support to assist with the promotion of its work and training.
Public Relations Officer for the Red Cross, Mrs Sabrna Darr Boodram, commented: “The patron will play a very important role for the Anguilla Red Cross by promoting the branch as its local ambassador, and working in partnership with the Governing Committee, Branch Coordinator and Volunteers to assist the branch in promoting its vision and mission.”
