Twenty-one year-old Lenroy Fleming, of South Hill, was formally charged with the murder of 23-year-old McKim Brooks on Saturday, October 4. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, October 6, for a bail hearing and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
At about 10.30 am on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, the body of Brooks was found motionless in the driver’s seat of a motor car on the North Hill Road. He appeared to have sustained several gunshot wounds to his body. A pathologist arrived in Anguilla on Monday, October 6, to perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
