At about 10.30 am on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, the body of Brooks was found motionless in the driver’s seat of a motor car on the North Hill Road. He appeared to have sustained several gunshot wounds to his body. A pathologist arrived in Anguilla on Monday, October 6, to perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

A press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force has thanked the public for the information provided, and hoped for the continued assistance of the public in the shared fight against crime.
