16 CRIMES: OCTOBER 16-22

Sixteen crimes were reported by the police in Anguilla during the period October 16-22. Among the offences were ten thefts at The Cove, Shoal Bay, North Side, South Valley, Deep Waters, Island Harbour, Bad Cox, Tackling Estate, Blowing Point and West End.

The stolen items include electrical wire, a water hose, water pump, a table, gas bottle, tyres, a cell phone and a sum of money.

Three burglaries were committed at Rey Hill, Cauls Bottom and Island Harbour. There was one robbery at South Hill and two reports of arson at North Side and Shoal Bay.

Five persons were arrested as follows: One male on a default warrant, one male on suspicion of arson, two males to prevent a breach of the peace and one male for assault.
