During the period, September 3-9, thirteen serious crimes were committed in Anguilla, according to the Police.
Among the offences were four burglaries at Shoal Bay, Black Garden, Island Harbour and Bad Cox.
The stolen items included a cellular phone, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, a television set, blender, water pump and a sum of money.
There were nine thefts at George Hill, West End, Island Harbour, Corito, Blowing Point, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Swing High.
Among the stolen items were cellular phones, lobster pots, a boat, BBQ grill and money.
Eight persons were arrested during the period as follows: two males for disorderly conduct, two males for possession of a firearm, one male for possession of cannabis, one male on a default warrant, one male to prevent a breach of the peace; and one male for taking a conveyance.
There were seven traffic accidents.
