The Valley, Anguilla – September 15th, 2014 – Since retiring from a successful professional cricketing career in 2012, Omari has reinvented himself as a hard working, boundary pushing reggae artiste. As a result, he felt the need to make a special trip to Barbados, where he is well known as former West Indies cricketer.
On arriving on island he was well received by persons, who recognized him instantly, from his cricketing days. Young and old respectively showed their love and respect for this young man who had retired at a high in his sporting career four years ago. Barbados was where Omari Banks played his first test match; therefore it has many great memories for him.
