Campus AMs. Toya Carty of the Community Service Unit in the Department of Probation, in collaboration with the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School has completed yet another Community Service Give Back Project. The Campus A project resulted from discussions with the Principal of the school, Mrs. Ingrid Lake, who was happy that the Community Service Unit had taken an interest in providing services to the High School. The residents at Zenaida Haven Rehabilitation Center and the Community Service Officer scraped and painted the main wall outside of the Campus A grounds beginning on 30th August and concluded on 6th September.

The Community Service Officer, Ms. Toya Carty continues to steer the Program to achieve the goals of assisting offenders with reintegration and giving back to the Community.

The Department of Probation along with the Community Service Officer would like to encourage Community Groups and the General Public to partner with the Community Service Unit when undertaking any such projects. This will make available additional avenues that will assist the Department in providing probationers and residents the opportunity to complete their Community Service hours as ordered by the Court as well as enhancing the Give Back Project.

Ms. Carty can be contacted at the Department of Probation at 497-7343 during working hours.
