After finalizing the acquisition of the Panama-based Grupo Sonitel through subsidiary Cable & Wireless Panamá, Laurie Bowen (2nd left), CEO CW Business Solutions was joined in the signing ceremony by Julio Spiegel R.,(1st left) President of Grupo Sonitel, Jorge Nicolau (2nd right), CEO of Cable & Wireless Panama and Julio Spiegel F. (1st right), Vice President of Grupo Sonitel (and future CEO of Grupo Sonitel). An internal videoconference and press conference followed the signing. During the media briefing the leaders discussed the significant opportunities to grow Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) capabilities. Grupo Sonitel operates SSA Sistemas, a provider of end-to-end managed IT solutions and telecoms services to business and government customers in Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Peru as well as Sonset, a provider of IT solutions and services to Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) customers in Panama.
