The keys for two much-needed new Ford Explorer Police Interceptors SUVs were presented to Commissioner Rudolph Proctor of the Royal Anguilla Police Force on Tuesday, July 29. The presentation was made by Ms Ustella Fontaine of Fontaine & Associates and Mrs Elaine Hearn of Properties in Paradise.
A press release from the Ministry of Home Affairs stated in part: “The vehicles are a donation to the Police Force and will no doubt be a major benefit and a much-needed asset to the Force in patrolling the island. This very generous donation was provided by donors and friends to the island.
“The Commissioner of Police, in accepting the vehicles, expressed his sincere thanks to Ms Eustella Fontaine and Mrs Elaine Hearn, as well as to Mrs Rena Amjad and Mr Dylan Smith of Caribbean Auto in St Maarten.

“He also extended gratitude to all who contributed to this very generous donation. He stated that the interceptors will go a very long way is assisting the Royal Anguilla Police Force in its delivery of service to the people of Anguilla.

“The Government as a whole is grateful for this donation.”
