“This was quite special to us because of that reason”, Jade Reymond, Marketing & Corporate Communication Manager, said on Thursday, August 21. “We were able to offer the community up to $40,000 – in prizes. For our grand prize aspect we awarded four customers EC$4,000 and they were chosen in a variety of ways ranging from loyal customers paying their bill on time and in full, and through the normal day to day activities of maybe topping up or upgrading their services or signing up for new services.
“We congratulate these customers, as well as thank them for their patronage. These are customers who have been with us for quite a long time and we are extremely pleased that they stayed with us. We hope that they continue to enjoy the services that we offer, as well as the new innovative services that we are about to bring. With that in mind, the LIME family would like to congratulate Ms Cutelyn Phillips, Mr Allister Richardson, Ms Dorothy Connor and Ms Shellice Niles (who was off island).”

The Lime Anguilla Summer Promotion was launched on June 15 and continued until August 12. In addition to the grand prize of $4,000 won by the above four customers, there were weekly prizes with persons winning $400. LIME also gave away four Samsung tablets valued about $2,000 to four customers. The overall prize money, as stated above, totalled $40,000.

The $4,000 awardees present expressed delight over the cash prizes. Mr Allister Richardson, a customer of Cable & Wireless/LIME for over forty years, said he was pleased with the company’s service and offered his best wishes for the future.

“The Get Appy Promotion basically highlighted a number of different apps that our customers may not have known, but would find very useful, very informative or make them more efficient,” Ms Reymond explained. “With that promotion we were able to do a win aspect as well which we usually do during our Summer Promotion.”
