August 11th, 2014- The Valley Anguilla Digicel, was delighted to be the sponsor of most of the major events and contenders for the Anguilla Summer Festival at 40. Digicel supported Players HD Troupe, Dungeon Troupe, Red Ants Troupe, Klassique Ole Timers Troupe, Lion’s Community Troupe, Island Majorettes Troupe, Ms. Tiny Tott Pageant, Pump Yuh Flag, Wet Fete 2, Soak R’ Splash, Captain Charlie Booth, My Anguilla Experience, the Radio Anguilla Carnival road show, South Valley Street Fair, Anguilla Boat Racing Association, Exodus HD and Ms. Melisha Webster.
Digicel’s support, significantly played a key role in making Anguilla’s 40th carnival Extraordinary! Digicel was truly proud to have been a part of the thrill and excitement in celebrating Anguilla’s 40th Carnival Anniversary, the various troupes and organizations while giving customers more reasons to Enjoy carnival 40 fun.
The entire Digicel group congratulates Ms. Melisha Webster on her 2nd runner up place in the Miss Anguilla Queen Pageant; Players HD troupe for capturing King of the band, Queen of the band, largest troupe, most colourful troupe and 1st place for parade of troupes. Digicel also congratulates Klassique Ole Timers for capturing the title of best folklore troupe. In addition, Exodus HD did fantastic job for the entire carnival season. They retained their title as Road March Champions, won the 2014 Band clash and gave a outstanding performance at the annual August Monday Event.
All events, promoters, carnival revelers and contenders did a wonderful job representing the brand and Digicel is pleased to have been on board and give them full support!
