Commissioner of Police, Rudolph Proctor, has warned persons intending to disrupt the carnival activities that the Police will be very robust in their efforts to prevent and control acts of violence and other forms of misbehaviour.

“We will be deploying all available resources at all day and night functions,” he warned. “We will be in no hurry to engage anyone for bail who is arrested for violent and serious offences.”
Commissioner Proctor stressed the importance for a safe and peaceful carnival for the enjoyment of all persons.
