Governor Office presents wheelchairs to Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens’ Home

The staff and residents of the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens’ Home were presented with gifts of two wheelchairs and two Caribbean Cable receptor boxes from the Governor’s office. Myrtle Smith, Executive Assistant to the Governor, presented the gifts to Nurse Corrine Hodge, Ward Manager. This initiative came about after a visit to the Home on the Queen’s Birthday Tour in which the Governor recognized the need for some additional wheelchairs at the Home.

Caribbean Cable Communications generously donated the Cable Service to the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens Home, which will enable residents to enjoy a range of television services. Nurse Corrine thanked the Governor’s Office and Caribbean Cable Communications for their generous contributions.
