First of all, Anguilla is the only island in the Caribbean that did not have the business sector in the hands of foreign business people. Secondly, not only are many of their products dangerous and mass produced for foreign markets, they are known to dispise black folk. Why then are they on an island where 95% or more of the population are people of African descent?

I am 100% in favour of your idea CM, Barbados has a rigid and aggressive business model that favours their people. i believe as a region we must keep the money circulating in Anguilla and the caribbean by extension, rather than thousands of miles away where it will have little to no influence on our growth.

If the CM is so concerned about the Chinese labour practices, then use your power to change the laws. Make them higher 50% of their workforce form the local/native labour pool. That is how you fix that.

Glad to hear you calling a spade a spade. Here in Canada we do not have leadership with balls. I love coming to Anguilla and you are exactly correct in your assessment of the Chinese.
