Mr Editor:

THE HARBORER IS WUS DAN DE TIEF

Tell me this: was the Honourable Hubie a member of the House of Assembly in 2005 to 2010? Wasn’t he there when members of the House decided to give themselves a 25% increase? What did he say then, or what did he do?

Did he go from East End to West End holding meetings and telling the people what members of the House of Assembly were doing, increasing their salaries? No. Did he not gladly take his 25% increase like the rest of them? Or did he leave it in the Treasury?

Again, Mr Editor, I ask you this: where was the Honourable Hubie when the House decided on these big pension payments when Ministers demit office? He did not object then, did he? No! Because he stands to benefit. His day to collect his big pension will come too.

Yes, it was allegedly all about self when the Honourable Hubie did not speak against the 25% increase or the big pensions. So why now?

Yours faithfully
