SIX THEFTS, 2 BURGLARIES

Ten criminal matters in Anguilla were reported by the Police for the period April 30 to May 7.
The thefts were committed in Stoney Ground, Blowing Point, West End, Statia Valley, Cauls Bottom and Corito.

The stolen items included a radio, a car engine, car parts, a boat engine, cellular phones and a sum of money.

There were two burglaries which occurred in Stoney Ground and Deep Waters, where foodstuff and money were stolen.

Eight persons were arrested during the period as follows: four males to prevent a breach of the peace; one male on a default warrant; and one male on a warrant in the first instance.

There were seven traffic accidents.
