May 6, 2014- The Valley Anguilla: As part of its continued commitment to supporting its community, young entrepreneurs and visionary projects, Digicel was announced as the PLATINUM PARTNER of the 2014 TransPharmation Weekend.
DIGICEL made an $8000USD commitment to TransPharm Ltd’s owner and TransPharmation Weekend organizer, Csaesare Wattley. The funds will help to cover the extensive list of event production costs and technological support, as Digicel will be providing the 4G experience for the weekend of activities. As part of this commitment, Digicel is also sponsoring handsets for winners of some of the most contested events.
At the cheque presentation ceremony at Digicel’s corporate office, Head of Commercial, Kerchelle Jn. Charles expressed, “Digicel is committed to supporting TransPharm in its endeavours to promote health and fitness. We encourage persons to engage in activities that improve their health and wellness. The Digicel team therefore applauds the TransPharm team for putting on such an event and look forward to lending our support towards such initiatives in the future.”
TransPharm Ltd’s Csaesare Wattley, who produced the event last year with very limited assistance, is grateful for Digicel’s multi dimensional support and assistance.
He said; “Digicel’s total assistance towards TransPharmation Weekend 2014 is a testament to their desire to be involved in large scale, well organized community events. This is not only a commitment for this event but an investment in the health and fitness lifestyles of the community and their customers. I am pleased that they felt the event and TransPharmNATION was something they wanted to team up with. On behalf of me and my team, I would like to say a big thank you to Digicel for its generous contribution. “
TransPharmation Weekend is scheduled to start Friday May 9th until Sunday May 11th and will take place at the Tomac Plaza in Water Swamp. All are invited to attend and to participate.
