Arijah Children’s Foundation, which has been doing an excellent job since its establishment several years ago, has now been officially adopted by Kimberly-Clark, working in collaboration with Tropical Distributors Co Ltd, whose owner is Mr David Hodge of The Long Path.
Kimberly-Clark is an American personal care corporation that produces mostly paper-based consumer products, and has regional offices in Puerto Rico, and distributors in a number of Caribbean islands, including Anguilla.
The adoption ceremony was held at the Blossom Centre at Auckland House, where the Arijah Foundation, through its Director and Proprietor, Mrs Renuka Harrigan, operates a caring facility for challenged children.
Mrs Harrigan, who gave a rundown of the establishment and work of the centre, was grateful to Kimberly-Clark and Tropical Distributors for their thoughtful and kind adoption, and the provision of various needed supplies for the children.
Mr Willis Hodge, Manager of Tropical Distributors, and Ms Doring Perez and Mr Alberto Escalera, of Kimberly-Clark, said the company was delighted to be of assistance to a worthy cause, and was supportive of the work of the Arijah Children’s Foundation in Anguilla.
Mr David Hodge, accompanied by Mrs Harrigan, was given the opportunity to unveil the adoption plaque for the Arijah Foundation and the Blossom Centre.
