Like every year, the Primary Schools’ Sports Day on Thursday, April 3, was an impressive event both in terms of the colourful parade and the keen performances at the Ronald Webster Park.

It was a very exciting time for the participating students and cheer leaders, as well as the mass crowd the event attracted from around 9 am to sundown.

The keenly-contested sports day event was won by Valley Primary School with a score of 623 points. The other scores were as follows: Adrian T Hazell School: 463; Orealia Kelly School: 376; Alwyn A Richardson School and Morris Vanterpool School tied at 254; Central Christian School: 238; Vivien Vanterpool School: 236; and Omololu International School: 57 points.
