The Easter Monday holiday in Anguilla was celebrated with a series of social activities in various parts of the island.

The main events were the Annual St Mary’s Easter Monday Fair on the grounds of the Scouts and Guides Ruthwill Auditorium – an activity involving both the Anglican and Methodist Churches; the South Hill Community ‘Extravaganza’ – a recently-introduced function; and a boat race at Sandy Ground – a customary annual sporting event.

The three activities were well-patronised – not only by many persons from throughout the island, but by a number of visitors as well, including Anguillians returning home for the Easter holiday season.

Some of the scenes of the three above events, captured by The Anguillian’s camera, are shown on these pages.
