I couldn't agree more. We keep hearing that Anguillians don't read. As the CM was quoted to have allegedly say that if you want to let Anguillians know something put it in the papers. Having said that, I've been making the case now for the longest while that we need to put a face on Anguilla, one that will not embarrass us, one who can "walk the walk" and "tlk the talk." One who is educated in the fine art of politics, one who knows what is at stake, one who will not be blindsided, one who can anticipate what's going to happen next. Unfortunately, we stuck with a reactive government who really does not know what the devil they're doing. We should be on par with Bermuda and the BVI, but look where we are. Right now the Reggae Band British Dependency is touring the United States with The Wailers , with their picture emblazoned on the side of a bus, saying Anguilla "Tranquility Wrapped In Blue". Tomorrow they will be in Hollywood and I plan to go and see them, but I digress. It is high time that we include the women, Pam and Cora and a third lady though I don't recall her name, but the men have failed miserably. It is sad to see and hear how grown men behave and these are the ones who ran the ship aground. Don't get me started on the banks. I know hat's a ssore subject in some quarters and rightfully so. I want to hold on to my meagre holdings, and I'm sure those with lots to lose want to hold on to theirs as well, but you'd never know by their lack of inaction. The CM has to go and the sooner the better. Until then, may God bless us all and may God bless Anguilla. Tyrone Hodge
