Commissioner Rudolph Proctor on Wednesday March 19 presented Jemima Romney of the Blowing Point Youth Development Centre a cheque for EC$4,000. He said that the Royal Anguilla Police Force continue to demonstrate giving back to the community and are able to do so as a result of funds raised from the raffle during police week. He said that it is a worthy cause and he expressed the hope that the funds will assist in developing some of the courses planned for the Centre.
Jemima Romney thanked the Commissioner on behalf of the staff and students of the Centre saying that they are very grateful for the contribution that will certainly give a boost to help with the programmes being planned. The funds will be used towards a PA system, and a heavy duty printer and photo copier that will assist the students in documenting their studies.
