The Father of the Nation, the Honourable James Ronald Webster, was visited at his home by a small representative group of primary students. On Sunday 2nd March 2014, Mrs. Susan Smith, Education Officer (Primary/Pre-Primary), two Principals and one Art Teacher accompanied the students.
Mr. Webster was presented with a birthday card (made by the Art & Craft Teachers) by Damarai Gumbs of the Morris Vanterpool Primary School. Sheronie Rogers (Vivien Vanterpool Primary School) and Jaheim Hamilton (Orealia Kelly Primary School) presented a fruit basket. The ‘Happy Birthday’ song was sung.
Mr. Webster expressed his appreciation for the gesture of love. The group valued the precious time and took photos with the ‘Revolutionary Hero’. It was a well-spent Sunday afternoon.
