The awardees were commended for their outstanding performance by the General Manager, Mr Stephane Zaharia, who stressed the importance of good interpersonal and guest relations to the wellbeing of the property. He also took the opportunity to report on the progress of the resort. “2014 is starting to be a pretty good year for us,” he said. “We see a very nice growth in the occupancy/revenue stream of the resort, but we need to be very cautious about it.” While he saw April as a busy month, he noted that other periods vary between very busy and very slow.
Mr Zaharia stated that the resort was actively working on its new project – the 80-room Reef Hotel by CuisinArt. He said: “We are looking forward to its opening in November 2016. It is going to be very important for us not only because we are going to open a new hotel, but also because we will be hosting a great Golf of the World Tournament sponsored by GPA, the Professional Golfers’ Association.”
The General Manager also announced that there will be a number of staff promotions in preparation for the upcoming completion of the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa expansion. When the new Reef Hotel is completed, the entire property will have a total of 182 rooms.
