Police in Anguilla are expressing concern over continued acts of felony on the island with respect to theft, burglary and robbery.
The police reported on Wednesday that there were ten serious crimes in Anguilla during the period March 12 -19.
Four of the cases were thefts, two of which occurred at West End and the other two at The Copse and Roaches Hill respectively.
In contrast, there were six burglaries at Blowing Point, Deep Waters, Shoal Bay, South Valley, Stoney Ground and The Valley respectively.
Overall, the stolen items included a quantity of jewellery, a television, a radio, tool kit, an assortment of foodstuff, several ceiling fans, a cellular phone and a small refrigerator.
One person was arrested to prevent a breach of the peace.
There was one minor traffic accident.
