MR. DAVID CRAVER BERGLUND
Dr. David Craver Berglund, age 88 , residing at Sea Feathers Bay, Anguilla passed away of natural causes at home on the 26th of December 203. David was born on December 17, 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio to Ernest Axel Berglund and Eleanor Craver Berglund.
David received the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University, Class of 1948. He went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Army, as Post Veterinarian and Food Inspector for the 5th Army. In 1957, David built the Hill-Chester Hospital for Animals in Hillside, Illinois. David was a 32rd Degree Mason and a member of the AO Fay Lodge in Highland Park, Illinois and a Shriner and member of Medinah Temple in Chicago. He believed in fair and equal treatment for everyone. Though the years he has sponsored 17 Anguillian children to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children where they received the most up to date medical and surgical care available.
David became an ardent scuba diver and discovered 2 shipwrecks off of Anegada. He also earned a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
David first came to Anguilla in 1963 and fell in love with the island. When the Revolution came in 1967 he was on the island thus become a small part in Anguilla’s Revolution. He has had a home in Anguilla since 1968, moving to the island full time in 1979. In the following years, David started the new businesses that created new jobs, such as Super Cinema and the Hydroponic Greenhouses on Corito Bay. All the while he operated a veterinary clinic out of his home.
On Anguilla David was active in the Anguilla Rotary Club for a number of years and was a founding member of the Anguilla Freemasons Association.
David is survived by his wife, Charlotte Berglund, of Anguilla, his sons David Jr of Indiana, and Richard Speer Berglund of Illinois and his daughter, Susan Dale Berglund of Colorado and step-son Victor Edward Cabot of Texas. Grandchildren include Michael William Berglund, Rebecca Colleen Berglund, Emily Catherine Berglund, Kristen Elise Berglund and Erik Speer Berglund. David is also survived by his sister, Judith Berglund Carmichael of Anguilla and brother Dr. Nevin Craver Berglund of Illinois.

IRENE BEATRICE FAHIE
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of IRENE BEATRICE FAHIE of the Forest, also known to many as Mammy or B.
She departed this life on Monday, December 23rd, 2013 at 1:00 am at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She was eighty eight years old.

The thanksgiving service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday January 10th, at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church beginning at 2:30pm. Viewing will be from 1:30 to 2:20pm. Elfredo Jesamines Richardson
The late Elfreda Jesamines Richardson was laid to rest at Sandy Hill Cemetery on Saturday, December 28, 2013, following a Thanksgiving Service at St Augustine’s Anglican Church, East End. She died on December 18 at the age of 77 years.
She is survived by two sons: Alphonso and Anolda Richardson. Her sisters were Lilian Hodge (Deceased); Margary Richardson (deceased), Malonia Reine, Doreen Richardson and Bronti Richardson. Her brothers were Emile Rogers and Roy Richardson; her aunts: Margaret Ruan and Clrita Rogers (deceased); and her uncle was Thomas Richardson.
She also leaves a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one daughter-in-law, Janica Richardson, as well as various other family members and close friends.

The Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Ernest Albrice Brooks will be held on Saturday, 4th January 2013 at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, The Valley at 3:00 p.m. Viewing will commence at 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Interment will be at the Church’s Cemetery.
