With the recent rains in Anguilla, Methodist Supernumerary Minister, Rev Dr S W Hodge, has reported a bountiful harvest of corn at the front and backyard areas of his residence at South Hill. The harvested corn is strung up over his patio – as was traditionally the custom on the island.

The retired Minister is a noted farmer and serves as an Executive Member of the National Farmers’ Association. He is also a supplier of various short-term food crops and seeds, and is involved in animal husbandry – all enjoyable pastimes for him. He occasionally functions as a Bible Teacher and substitute Preacher in the Methodist Church.
