Luke 2:14 – Glory to God in the highest!
Christmas would not be Christmas if there was not Christ. This family came together on December 25th 2011 and give glory to the most high, where time was spent in celebrating Christ birth with prayer and thanksgiving.
The evening was spent in sharing and giving with family and friends who took part and enjoyed the “yardie” (old time) cooking. The evening was also lighted up when members of the family showcased fashion made with natural material.
The family came together and made a difference in 2013. God has blessed us even when times were hard we gave glory to God, we thanked and praised God through giving back to others just how God gave to us, his Son. They celebrated Christ’s birth by bringing family, friends known and unknown together and shared in an early morning breakfast and then lunch.
The evening proceeded where children displayed their talents, in poetry, dance, songs and skits. Once again family and friends highlighted the evening with a fashion show. The outfits were made from garbage bags, flour sacks, potatoe bags, sugar bags, onion bags, paper, cotton and Christmas decorations which were made and designed by the contestants. On Boxing day the family came together and played games such as basket ball, dominoes, rounder’s, just to name a few.
Thanks to God for Christ and to all who we were able to share Christ with us. Thanks for the positive gestures made as we endeavour not only to made Christ meaningful on Christmas but every day of our lives; we take this opportunity to wish you A Blessed and Christ filled 2014.
Glory to God in the highest peace on earth good will too all men. When Christ is in, the devil can’t win.
