IMG-20131028-WA006The Lions started as a Brotherhood consisting of gentlemen from North Side and the surrounding area, since then the group has transformed into a Community Organization expanding membership to the Anguillan community. The group’s 1st initiative began during the 2013 Summer Festival with the “Lions Fete Troupe”. Since then, the group has been exploring various ways to give back to the Anguillan community.
In an ongoing efforts to be productive citizens in the communities, the Lions set forth to demonstrate how unity and camaraderie can contribute to bringing communities together for a common purpose. With the absence of Christmas activities over the past few years, the holiday spirit has been diminishing. As a gesture to lift people’s spirits, they felt obliged to help bring joy to everyone in Anguilla for the Christmas holidays. One initiative the group aspires to accomplish is to revive the lighting of trees along the Valley’s Mahogany Drive road. This initiative will be assisted by a predecessor of the “Valley Christmas Tree Lighting Committee,” Mr. Brent Warner, who is also an active member of the Lions Community.

In addition to the above mentioned, festive activities have been organized commencing December 18th 2013 thru January 4th 2014.
This initiative involves the whole of Anguilla and support in all forms is welcomed. Should you have any interest in the undertaking, please feel free to contact Mr. Brent Warner at 476-0161 or Mr. Derrick Richardson at 476-3737.
We take this opportunity to thank everyone that has been supportive thus far and we look forward to continued support from the Anguillan Community.
