The Ministry of Education has received notification from the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), of the students across the region who have excelled in various subject areas in the June sitting of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC)examinations. Among them are two students from Anguilla. Mr Kasem Thompson of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School received the best results in the region in CSEC Music, and Mr Jarion Duncan also of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School received the best results in the region in CSEC Electrical and Electronic Technology (Technical).
The Ministry of Education congratulates both students on their outstanding performance in these areas. Commendations are also extended to the Principal and teachers at the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School, parents of the students and everyone who would have assisted in their development. The Ministry recognizes that to attain the position of top student in the region in a particular subject is a significant achievement that should not go unnoticed.
