The Anguilla Chamber of Industry and Commerce is collecting funds for another young person to be awarded a scholarship to pursue an Associate Degree in Business Administration and Hospitality.
Towards that end, the Chamber presented a cheque for US$3,000 to the Anguilla Community College. The money was raised from the Chamber’s recent Starry Night Dinner and Dance. Additional funds will be raised during the golf tournament on December 14.
Mrs Wilma Broaden, the Events Coordinator for the Anguilla Chamber of Commerce, is appealing to members of the business community to sponsor the fund-raising golf tournament.
“I still need a few more sponsors to provide US$350 each, “Mrs Broaden said. If you, out there, are willing to sponsor a hole at the golf tournament at the price, we will welcome it. Your support will enable us to give a full scholarship to our next student.”
