Ten students of the University of the West Indies Open Campus Anguilla successfully completed undergraduate degree programmes in 2013. The graduates travelled to Grenada on Saturday, October 12th, 2013 in order to attend the Graduation exercise which was held at the Grenada Spice Basket Cultural Centre. One of the graduates of the University of the West Indies Open Campus, Miss Annette Eli, will be travelling to the Mona Campus in Jamaica to attend the graduation ceremony carded for November 2ndh, 2013.
Bachelor of Science Accounting
Miss Annette Eli completed a BSc. (Honours) degree in Accounting.
Bachelor of Education English/Literature
Mrs. Vanessa Croft Thompson completed a BEd. (Honours) degree in English/Literature Education (Model B).
Bachelor of Education Literacy Studies
Mrs. Sabrina Darr completed a Bed. (Honours) degree in Literacy Studies (Model A).
Bachelor of Education Secondary Mathematics
Mr. Herbert Davis completed a Bed. (Honours) degree in Secondary Mathematics Education (Model A).
Bachelor of Science Management Studies
Mr. Giovanni Francisca completed a BSc. (First Class Honours) degree in Management Studies. Mrs. Coleen Cupid, Mrs. Rozell Hennis-Richardson, Miss Shanda Herbert, Miss Nadia Ruan, and Mr. Ricky Rouphine completed BSc. (Honours) degrees in Management Studies.
Five of the graduates were recipients of scholarships and financial assistance awards from the Government of Anguilla. The Government of Anguilla continues to partner with the University of the West Indies Open Campus Anguilla in its efforts to create and foster higher education opportunities through the provision of the online certificate, associate, diploma, undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
